Imeylda: Good morning. Mr. Robertson. How can I help you?

Keyla: I have an appointment with Ms. Adams.

Imeylda: Ah, yes. Mr. Robertson, Ten fifteen?

Keyla: That's right. Sorry I'm late.

Imeylda: No problem. Please follow me. It's this way.


Keyla: Mr. Robertson? How do you do?

Imeylda: Fine, thank you, Ms. Adams. And you? 

Keyla: I'm fine. Please, call me Jessica.

Imeylda: OK, Jessica. And I'm Michael.

Keyla: So, how was the trip, Michael?

Imeylda: Not too bad


Keyla: Oh, that's be Dave, Come in. Michael Robertson, this is Dave Scott, our Canadian representative.

Aisyah: Good to meet you, Dave.

Imeylda: It's good to meet you too, Michael

Keyla: Michael is the Purchasing Manager at AlphaCom in Toronto.

Aisyah: Yes, I know AlphaCom... Tell me, is this your first trip to Chicago, Michael?

Imeylda: Yes. Yes, it is

Deskripsi text terdiri dari 3 aspek yaitu 1. Structure text 2. Sosial function 3. Language features 1. structure text ada 3 yaitu :      a. identification , adalah pendahuluan, berupa gambaran umum tentang suatu topik.   b. description , berisi ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan (minimal 3). (sight, hear, smell, taste, texture, feel)    c. conclusion , menggambarkan hasil akhir atau penilaian terhadap suatu situasi atau topik.  2. Sosial Function mendeskripsikan peristiwa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Contoh : -mendeskripsikan orang, seperti orang hilang, kecelakaan, pekerjaan dll. -mendeskripsikan tempat, seperti tempat wisata yang akan dikunjungi. -mendeskripsikan barang, seperti barang yang hilang serta barang yang akan dibeli. 3.
