Deskripsi text terdiri dari 3 aspek yaitu 1. Structure text 2. Sosial function 3. Language features 1. structure text ada 3 yaitu :      a. identification , adalah pendahuluan, berupa gambaran umum tentang suatu topik.   b. description , berisi ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan (minimal 3). (sight, hear, smell, taste, texture, feel)    c. conclusion , menggambarkan hasil akhir atau penilaian terhadap suatu situasi atau topik.  2. Sosial Function mendeskripsikan peristiwa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Contoh : -mendeskripsikan orang, seperti orang hilang, kecelakaan, pekerjaan dll. -mendeskripsikan tempat, seperti tempat wisata yang akan dikunjungi. -mendeskripsikan barang, seperti barang yang hilang serta barang yang akan dibeli. 3.
